My Uncle bought the tractor new in 1956, then I bought it at his farm sale in the late 70's, it spent it's entire life with the loader on it. The tractor had the fast hitch, it functioned the same as a three point of today except it used two prongs that fit into two sockets on the tractor, there was no top link.

Mar 17, 2021 · It is a 1/2" steel rod and a standard 5/8" hitch pin cut in half-ish. I used the bent end of the hitch pin to make a hook and welded that to the rod. The other end I welded on a small scrap of 1/8" flat drilled out to the rod and a similar piece of 1/8" to the other half of the hitch pin.

It's so much better looking (and don't detract from the resale value) if you weld the hooks on the inside of the bucket on the side sheets near the cutting lip. I own 3 's, no little ones, a 90 a 100 and a 105 horse.
